The founder of the Rekha Girls Hostel Mrs. Rekha Rai believes that girls are undoubtedly an indispensable part of our society. No society or culture can progress without the presence of the Girls. The modern age is the age of awakening of girls. Women empowerment today goes beyond just sending their girls for higher education to different cities. It is also about ensuring girl’s safety while they are away from home. Hence, one of the key challenges was the unavailability of proper accommodation facilities for working or non-working women which urge Mrs. Rekha Rai to establish the first of its kind hostel for women which will be no less than a home.

And as the founder herself is a mother, so who will understand better than her what good nurturing is all about. Knowing this will provide a peaceful sleep to parents who left their daughters at a completely new and unknown place.
