Dikshita Girls Hostel is one of the oldest and the most reputed girl's hostel in Patna. A large number of girls from across the country have stayed here for several years for their professional as well as academic career. This is best suited for girls from Patna Women's College and students studying in a coaching center in and around Boring road. Presently this girls hostel is the 2nd home for many girls students and professionals. Patna, formally known as the education city of Bihar, has seen immense growth in Past years as far as coaching institutes for entrance exams of AIEEE, JEE, PET, PMT, Banking, SSC etc are concerned. Every year around 1 Lac students come to Patna to cherish their dreams to get into top IIT, Engineering & Medical colleges and get good jobs across India. People of Patna especially surrounding these coaching institutes have managed a lot to cater to these students but still a good hostel was missing where students can get the best food, best accommodation & warding facility. Keeping this in mind Dikshita Girls Hostel was opened in the year 2002 and since then it is being run under the supervision and care of Mr N.K Sinha, a retired government employee, and Mrs Sushma Sinha. The general administration is taken care of by N K Sinha also acknowledged as “Dadaji” by the residents of the Hostel and Mess and kitchen is handled by his wife Mrs Sushma Sinha also called “Dadi”.
