Sharda University Greater Noida is a private state university established in 2009 under an act of the State Legislature of Uttar Pradesh (14 of 2009). The varsity is a venture of the renowned Sharda Group of Institutions (SGI). It is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The university is ranked at 179th position for the Engineering category as per the NIRF ranking 2021. With a campus covering an area of 80 acres, the university has 728 faculty members and 14 disciplinary schools such as School of Engineering, Management, Law, Architecture, Medical, Dental, Nursing etc. As per the official website of Sharda University, its mission is to develop disciplinary knowledge, problem-solving ability, leadership, communication and interpersonal skills amongst students. 

The university offers over 179 courses in various disciplines like humanities, commerce, and science. For admission in B.Tech and B.Arch programmes, the varsity accepts JEE Main/UPSEE and NATA/JEE Main paper 2 scores. Candidates who have not appeared for a national/state level entrance exam can appear for Sharda University Admission Test (SUAT) to take admission in B.Arch and B.Tech. Sharda University Greater Noida accepts CAT/MAT/XAT scores for M.B.A. admissions. 

The university has international and national collaboration with other universities and institutions such as Kings University College, University of Western Ontario, Curtin University Of Technology and many more.  Sharda University provides modern facilities and infrastructure to its students, staff and faculty members.
