Resonance was founded on 11th April, 2001 by Mr. R.K. Verma, B.Tech, Electrical and Electronics from IIT Madras. Coming from an obscure town to becoming the top educationist in the field of education, enabling students from all part of the country to realize their dreams of IIT, Mr. R.K. Verma has indeed come a long way.

The institute is having its own Study Centres which are offering Classroom Programmes for JEE (Main+Advanced) at Kota | Jaipur | Bhopal | Bhubaneswar | Lucknow | Nagpur | Udaipur | Patna | Jodhpur | Indore | Agra | Delhi | Kolkata | Mumbai | Ahmedabad Nanded | Ranchi | Allahabad | Aurangabad | Jabalpur | Raipur | Gwalior | Vadodara | Chandrapur | Gandhinagar | Surat | Nashik | Rajkot. These Study Centres are not franchisees. They are established and managed by Resonance, Kota.

Distance Learning Program Division was launched during the Academic Session 2005-06 looking at the need of students who cannot leave their native places for education offering courses for JEE (Advanced),JEE (Main),NEET, AIIMS, KVPY, NTSE, IJSO, CBSE and other national and international Olympiads.

Pre-Foundation Career Care Programmes (PCCP) Division was launced in 2006. In last 11 years, PCCP division has evolved significantly and works in two segment of classes, namely, Sub junior classes ( V-VIII) and junior classes (IX-X).

The Institute has diversified its portfolio by launching AIEEE/JEE (MAIN) & NEET(AIPMT) division in the Academic Session 2010-11. Apart from coaching for competitive examination, the Institute is also offering programmes for the students of Class VII to X who appear in Talent Search Examinations like National Talent Search Examination (NTSE),International Olympiads conducted by various Government and Private Organizations.

Mr. Ram Kishan Verma, an edupreneur synonymous with success in cracking IIT-JEE, was born in a small village in the Kota district in the state of Rajasthan. He excelled throughout his schooling, in himself clearing the IIT-JEE and as an Electrical & Electronics Engineering student at IIT-Madras. After completing his B.Tech. in 1994, he joined BHEL as a Trainee Engineer .

Following a brief stint at BHEL, destiny brought him into coaching education which at that time was emerging in Kota and he joined a reputed coaching institute in Kota as part of the Physics Faculty in 1995 and continued there till 2001. Through his sincerity, dedication and hard work, he earned respect from his students and became very popular amongst the student fraternity, as RKV Sir , for his in-depth subject knowledge, unmatched teaching skills and passionate aptitude for the coaching profession.

The dream of becoming an edupreneur resulted in the genesis of Resonance, founded by Mr . R.K. Verma in 2001 at Kota itself. Since then, Resonance has taken leaps and bounds forward under his leadership and his persistent quest to take it to the pinnacle of success & excellence.
